Universal Petro-Chemicals Ltd. is the flagship of the six decades old Universal - Halwasiya Group; under the able guidance of the founder Mr. Madan Mohan Halwasiya, the group has grown and expanded its operations in Transformer Oils, White Oils, Liquid Paraffins, Automotive Lubricants, Industrial Lubricants and Specialities.
- Universal Petro-Chemicals Ltd. ( UPCL ) produced India’s first BIS approved Transformer Oil
- Group among the first to export White Oils, Liquid Paraffins & Petroleum Sulphonates to North America and the Far East
- The Group has since then introduced the entire range of high performance lubricants in India
- Today the Group has diversified interests in lubricants / petroleum products and infrastructure projects in India and overseas
- Manufacturing plants in India, with fully automated manufacturing systems and high speed filling machines
- Highest quality assurance systems and practices in place, with in-house R & D center for new products Development / Research
- Base oils, additives and other inputs are procured from world leaders around the globe
- We are 150-strong today, with a core team of talented professionals, adept in handling the complexities of the oil industry and trade
- Manufacturing and filling line capacity of over 35,000KL of automotive and industrial lubes
- UPCL introduced German Technology in the lubricants sector in India in the 1990s. This stands enhanced today, with ultra-modern techniques & formulations, to give the consumer a world class product
